  • Writing for Readers: preparing for publication beyond the academy. Program held at the University of Melbourne, July 2009.

  • Mentored by Christos Tsiolkas on how to structure and develop novel in progress ‘Warrior’ 2009. He referred to me as a ‘terrific writer’ and the novel to have ‘the potential to be very powerful.’

  • Novel Writing Master Class with Antoni Jach in January 19-23 rd & 28th February 2009 and December 1st -5th 2010 (Sponsored by the Grace Marion Wilson Trust Fund) through the Victorian Writers Centre .
