Trusting the Life Process, Part II
I started working with Mas Sajady and Xponential Intelligence simultaneously with Star. They taught me to cultivate a sense of purpose and clarity by focusing on the present moment and taking each step mindfully, one word, breath, and step at a time. This is how I completed the manuscript for The Lantern Oracle.
As I wrote The Lantern Oracle, I learned what an oracle is. Through the guided meditations with Mas Sajady, I learned to become attuned to the rhythm of my messy and disturbing life, trust the process, and surrender to the new flow of my life now, not how I wanted it to be and wished it hadn't been.
By creating The Lantern Oracle, I discovered I instinctively knew what an oracle is and how to write one. I was learning so much from the words coming out of me. My brain's creative unconscious side, whether in writing or painting, is much more intelligent than my conscious prefrontal cortex. The effects of abuse and trauma have compromised my executive functioning. So, I completely trusted my creative higher self and energy while creating the Lantern Oracle and guidebook. The process and the words streaming out of me taught me how to heal what I was going through at that time. I just had to listen to it and let the process of living what I wrote positively transform my life.
Immersing ourselves in the creative and life processes with absolute trust in what is happening now, we discover hidden talents and new possibilities and forge meaningful connections with others who share our vision and life process.
Along the way, it's essential to celebrate progress and acknowledge achievements, no matter how small. For me, this means going to a gallery, the beach, seeing a ballet, or attending the recital centre.
Each milestone reached is a testament to our dedication and perseverance, fuelling our motivation to continue onward. Celebrating any achievement reinforces what we can do and inspires us to confidently tackle what lies before us. And if doubt creeps in or obstacles loom large, we can draw strength from the memory of how far we've come, what we've already managed to persist in living through and constructively process. Trusting in and allowing the life process to present what's needed to propel us forward is easier each time.
Ultimately, to process is to progress. Life's many processes are about discovering who we are, what we're capable of, and what truly matters to us. My life process has included discovering who Star is beyond the role of one of my PhD supervisors, and it involved experiencing a life-changing progress. The same goes for accessing Mas Sajady's meditations and what he shares about himself and his story. Star and Mas are significant in my life process and progress because I trusted them and, through them, have learnt to trust in the life process.
We honour ourselves to remember our capacity to take each step with courage and conviction, knowing that with patience, persistence, and trust, we will ultimately arrive at the place where the process of getting there transforms who we are into a higher version of ourselves.
Trust the stars that show up as beacons through the process.
